The association was established to support the foundation. This is achieved firstly through the annual membership fees paid by its members and secondly through fundraising events or other special campaigns organized by the association. This tandem structure follows the example of many well-known German foundations.
In contrast to the foundation, it is possible to become a member of the association. The annual membership fee was deliberately kept low at \u20ac 200 per year in order to make membership financially possible for as many interested parties as possible.

At a time when there are many major global problems to be solved, the interests of children with cancer are unfortunately being treated as a secondary consideration in the distribution of scarce funds. For example, funding for a new German Center for Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine planned for 2023 has also been postponed
Society and the state often have to set other priorities, which is why research for children with cancer is dependent on funding from donations from private individuals and charitable organizations. Individuals can also make a significant difference with their donations and attention. Every cent helps and is used conscientiously and purposefully. The affected children and their parents thank you from the bottom of their hearts.<\/p>\n
